Jennifer Marriott

Queen of Blues infused Jazz, Rock and Americana, Jennifer has one of the most dynamic voices seen in this mix of genres and as an award winning vocalist (BST Vocalist of the Year, twice), she has performed at festivals all over the country. She currently performs with her husband Pete Marriott and their seven member band of rock solid musicians in support of their 5 independent CD releases.

Pete and Jennifer Marriott have been playing music together for as long as they’ve been celebrating wedding anniversaries. Their collaboration has produced 5 CDs including a new release of 17 songs chronicling their years together. Pete’s unique guitar style along with Jennifer’s smokey vocals allow them to blend genres and grooves into a new musical experience with respect to the classics.

In the Press

“Marriott also draws plenty of comparisons to Janis Joplin as she blends acoustic folk with jazz and electric blues into a uniquely danceable sound. This London, Ontario native sings the blues as if she was born a lot closer to its delta roots.”

Terry Key – Currentland
“Jennifer can seduce into relaxation with the words of her songs, then her soft melodic voice can take on a Janice Joplin growl, or a downtown rhythm and blues wail setting the stage alive..”
David Evanston – Fort Myers Life Magazine
“With her husky, dusky voice, Jennifer Marriott gives a distinctive soulfulness that is infinitely easy to hear”
Elizabeth Wendt-Kellar – Naples Daily News
“Jennifer was a treat to watch with vocals reminiscent of a young Rickie Lee Jones.”
Brad Harwood – London Blues Society
“..she loves telling a good story in her music, she gives the story energy and the audience feeds it back to her….”
Renny Severance – Fort Myers Life Magazine
